Being a mom is tough job, rewarding beyond belief, but tough. Wouldn't it be nice if there was a one-size-fits-all manual. Unfortunately there is not. I want to leave my girls (and anyone else that might benefit) with the little bits and pieces I have figured out along the way that will hopefully one day help them navigate the waters ( or at least commiserate in the challenges) of motherhood.
Today as I agonize over a) how to help a fussy baby who has not pooped in 4 days ( TMI - sorry) be comfortable and b) what the cause of the red pimply rash all over her face is, I have come to the realization that trying to resolve our little one's issues is a never ending part of being a mom. As soon as we solve one problem (if we ever solve it) something else to worry about comes along. I actually came to this realization some time around E's first birthday, but having a newborn (even the second time around) has me stumbling over this one again. Therefore, this weeks word of wisdom is:
